Adaptive Home Logic is unique:-

Designed for the home automation enthusiast that doesn't wish to run out of flexibility; Adaptive Home Logic is innovative, powerful, unified, efficient, a little geeky (though not entirely) & highly flexible, having the ability to interface with almost anything (even if it’s not yet directly supported, without difficulty) together with many advanced sophisticated features, usually only found in the top-end systems, within an easy to understand, and therefore easy to use, application with a focus on usability, dependability, speed and quality that won’t cost the earth!

In other words, a home automation solution that’s powerful whilst being easy to use, or easy to use yet powerful. A very rare combination! Or in the words of one of our users Refreshing!

Once the basic principles have been grasped, the program’s straight forward to use & easy to understand, but with plenty of low level power, flexibility & expansion capabilities; without the steep learning curve usually associated with this type of application. Most home automation tasks are very easily & quickly implemented, without the necessity for any programming or script writing.

Being designed from the ground-up to encompass the computer’s standard interfaces (rather than being designed around some proprietary technology) provides the program with particularly strong generic interfacing capabilities, allowing it to interface with the widest, most diverse, selection of standard devices & peripherals, without requiring (expensive) plug-ins or controllers. This makes it ideal for the electronics hobbyist & for the many low voltage or specialist automation applications, allowing for a very reliable & unique home automation system to be established.

As well as working with many home automation peripherals, it can of course operate with (a growing number of) proprietary power line technologies to control your mains voltage lighting & appliances via relatively inexpensive, easy to use plug-in power line modules, without necessarily compelling you to invest in any particular technology.

The program may also be displayed via one or more screen overlay scenes, allowing it to be both presented and operated exactly the way you need or want it to be (simple / sophisticated, etc), so that it may be easily understood & operated by any member of the family, without any additional outlay.

Included with the program are a number of features such as RSS News & Weather feeds that are usually only available as expensive third-party plug-ins, which apart from increasing complexity are sometimes insufficiently integrated & provide an inefficient solution; we prefer the single unified vision, where the program is stable, simple & uniform throughout. Because Adaptive Home Logic does not rely on a highly proprietary plug-in architecture to provide extensibility, it means you are not entirely dependent upon any particular vendor for a device being supported.

In addition to the more conventional forms of modern communication, internet, telnet, email, etc. Adaptive Home Logic is the only home automation application that can also be securely accessed completely independently of anyone else’s communication infrastructure, via the APRS amateur packet radio network from afar.

The program can easily and seamlessly co-ordinate diverse devices into a wider home automation environment together with advanced features. It can easily be interfaced with existing systems or software to provide additional flexibility & useful functionality, making it a very useful addition in many home automation environments.
